Our room was very small, no window view, and with a very small 'double' bed. Organising making a cup of tea took thinking about due to lack of space. The bathroom was well appointed.
The breakfast overall was poor, selection of fruit limited, the bacon (particularly) and sauage were not good, and they ran out several items, mushrooms etc.
The staff were polite and friendly.

“ A lovely old hotel retaining many orginal features - if you like modern, then this hotel is not for you. Very pleased that all rooms have an ironing board & iron as well as a trouser press and hairdryer. Staff very friendly & helpul. Breakfast was very good. Room service was very quick. We are planning a return visit this year.
“ Top Tip: You must visit the Turkish Baths - what a relaxing experience & only a few minutes walk from the hotel.
