  • “ This is an airport hotel, it is functional, and has a frequent shuttle bus connection to Heathrow. The room we had was small, but perfectly adequate for its purpose and good value for money. We opted for bed & breakfast which was excellent.

“ It was short notice when I booked because of the threatened bad weather in the morning prior to our flight from T5.It all worked brilliantly well, the staff were very helpful, the room ideal, the restaurent food was very good and the waiter very polite and professional and the bus to T5 on time and convenient. I could not ask for any better. Very highly recommended and would be my No 1 should I ever be in the same situation again.

“ This hotel fell way below what one expects from the Thistle chain. The room was cold, the heating woefully inadequate and the decor tired. As a conference centre, fine, but as a hotel for people wishing to have a comfortable night's rest, forget it!

“ Top Tip: Don't stay here.
