The Metropole has the best views across the fishing harbour of Padstow and the camel Estuary. The hotel offers you the choice of a single room with Estuary views and a standard twin or double or either room type with an Estuary or Harbour view at an additional cost. The hotels AA rosette Restaurant offers excellent food and service and with a fantastic view of Padstow harbour across to Rock. Bookings are strongly recommended for dinner. In addition the Cafe Bar is open daily from 10am until 9pm with great views also and the hotel has two lounges for you to relax and unwind in. The hotel is fully non-smoking and all areas of the hotel offer free wireless broadband. Padstow has more in more recent times been put on the map by Rick Stein and his Seafood Restaurant is situated directly below the hotel with a special set of steps that goes between the hotel and Ricks Steins Restaurant. “ Outdated and in desperate need of modernisation. The room was damp and uncomfortable, the bathroom has mould in places. The lift does not always work and needs replacing. We were really disappointed.
