“ the rooms were very comfortable and were a good size for singles. breakfast was as you would expect in a 4 star hotel. All the staff without exception were very friendly and polite. Only problem was quite noisy with several christmas parties going on at the time but this would perhaps not be an issue at other times of the year. all in all a pleasant stay. thank you.

A contemporary hotel, offering quality accommodation and a stylish lounge bar, FREE Wi-Fi, FREE car parking and features an Italian style continental restaurant on site. Situated adjacent to Derby train station and a short distance from the City centre, where there is an abundance of shops and restaurants to suit all tastes. A good choice of English breakfast is served buffet-style in the lounge and guests are very welcome to bring takeaway meals in the evening. The hotel is within walking distance from Chesterfield Rail Station and only 45 minutes away from East Midlands airport, making it easily accessible. The Chesterfield offers a range of luxury rooms and also has a number of rooms suitable for disabled use. Guests can avail of the Peak Leisure Centre free of charge for the duration of their stay in the Chesterfield and after a long day sightseeing, what better way to relax than in our sauna or steamroom or take a refreshing dip in our 17M indoor heated swimming pool. “ Cheap old hotel that is starting to show its age, you get what you pay for. Staff friendly and breakfast nice, you just need to be prepared to pay approx £12 extra for the full English. I paid £36 for the room.

“ This hotel is directly opposite Derby Midland train station and about a ten minute walk to the Westfield shopping center. The staff was very friendly and helpful indeed, and they kept my luggage on my day of departure until I collected it in the afternoon.
