With a superb location on Eastbourne’s seafront, this sleek and stylish new designer budget hotel offers chic decor, fantastic value and great sea views. Each room has a minimalist decor and modern amenities, including a flat-screen TV. There are rooms suitable for disabled guests. The Big Sleep Hotel offers a continental breakfast and has a fully licensed lounge and bar that are open to both residents and non-residents. The Big Sleep Hotel is directly opposite the Wishtower and less than 1 mile from Eastbourne Station. Eastbourne’s Western Lawns, the Congress and Devonshire Park theatres and the International Lawn Tennis Centre are within walking distance.

“ Not enough tables for breakfast so along with others ,we had to wait. Our room was very clean with tea/coffee making facilities plus hair dryer etc. The bed was so comfortable. Disturbance from clubbers in the early hours (and police vans)because of where our room was situated which might upset some people.

The Playden Oasts is a three star English Tourist Board Inn full of charm and character just one mile from the historic Cinque Port of Rye. The building is an old converted oast house previously used for drying hops. Here you can relax with a quiet drink in our roundel coast bar warmed by the homely log fires. In fine weather enjoy the invigorating countryside air in our spacious beer garden. We have 2 delightful restaurants within our establishment offering a wide range of locally sourced dishes, along with traditional Sunday roasts, we are sure to cater for all your culinary desires. We also offer an extensive Bar Menu. We are open all day, every day and our food is served at Lunch (12 - 3pm) and Evenings (6 - 9pm). We offer eight fully en-suite bedrooms in our country hotel. If you are looking for a weekend break or just an overnight stay during the week this is the perfect home from home experience. Umi Brighton Hotel offers great customer service coupled with a fantastic location on Brighton seafront right next to the Brighton Centre, making it an ideal place to stay for leisure or business. In addition they offer free Wi-Fi and free access to The Lanes leisure club and pool. Each individually styled ensuite room at Umi Brighton has a LCD freeview TV, tea and coffee making facilities, work desk, direct dial telephones, in room safe*, and trouser press*. Nearly half the rooms have sea views, which are breath-taking and most of these have Air Conditioning. Why not ask for one of their signature rooms on check in which have recently been decorated with each having a different wall quote above the bed. Early check in, flowers, chocolates or champagne in your room on arrival are all available, just contact one of the reception team for more information and prices. “ really enjoyed our stay here, although it was hard to make out were the entry to the hotel was and when we did arrive, we were stood waiting in the reception area for 20 minutes. when the member of staff arrived he was very polite and helpful. Room was clean and having only paid £36 it was very reasonable.

The White Hart Hotel is an exceptionally unusual 16th century coaching inn. The original Tudor building has been magnificently extended to incorporate a wealth of modern facilities whilst retaining its wonderful historic character. The public rooms are rich with period features, original oak beams, stone Tudor fireplaces, oak panelling and creaking, sloping floors. Then step into the 21st century in our luxury health spa complete with heated swimming pool, tropical Sauna and cascading rock pool spa bath.
“ We thought this was excellent value. Great position in centre of town, comfortable rooms, OK breakfast and the health club/swimming pool is a real bonus. Some comments say it is a little tired decor wise - well, it certainly ain't contemporary minimalist but hey, Thomas Paine waxed away here in 18th century so it is not exactly an ideal candidate for Ikea and laminate flooring.

The Blue Flag beach is a venue in itself, ideal for picnicking, playing or just lazing around. Away from the beach the beautiful old port town of Rye deserves exploring, along with the old smugglers hideouts dotted along the coast and of course the iconic White Cliffs – the traditional greeting for anyone sailing back to England Pontins at Camber Sands is a great place to be! Non stop fun for all the family with up to 70 free activities from, Crazy Golf to Karaoke and Talent Competitions to Bingo. At the end of the day Lunars bar is buzzing with live music and acts perfect for adults and older teens.
