Rooms were simply gorgeous! A gem of an Inn plus it's a Wadsworth pub! If you are looking for an escape and an antidote to a chain style hotel then you have found it! Within easy reach of the M5 without the noise. The Colesbourne is an old coaching Inn dating back to 1827 set in the heart of the picture postcard Cotswold countryside. Located 14 minutes from Cheltenham Spa England's most complete Regency town and 14 minutes from the Roman town of Cirencester 'Capital of the Cotswolds'. Not all the surrounding villages are well known and today many still hold their secrets. Amongst the treasures to be found are Painswick Biddestone and Winchcombe all hidden villages off the beaten track. “ This inn was excellent. Very comfortable and the decor was nice. It was clean and the breakfast of a high standard. We ate in the restaurant and the food was varied. Smaller portions for small appetites were available with some dishes. The room was warm and welcoming. The staff were very friendly. I would stay here again.
