All the rooms are on the first floor and feature fluffy white towels luxurious toiletries colour TV alarm clocks homemade biscuits and coffee and tea facilities.

Barony Castle is a beautiful mansion house built in 1536. Set in 25 acres it offers a quiet and peaceful location. Ideally situated on the outskirts of the Scottish Borders only 40 minutes from the centre of Edinburgh for city culture and shopping and only 5 minutes from the beautiful Borders town of Peebles. Barony Castle has an indoor heated swimming pool multi gym sauna and spa bath. Lift to most rooms and 2 purpose designed rooms for wheelchair users. Full Scottish buffet style breakfast served daily. Dinner is a 3 course table d'hote menu. Rural location with splendid views of the surrounding Moorfoot Hills. An ideal location for mountain biking at Glentress Forest walkingrambling only minutes from the River Tweed for salmon and trout fishing. Many golf courses within easy reach of the castle. Good food in lovely surroundings along with friendly Scottish hospitality make this a unique setting for our guests to enjoy.The Townhouse Hotel's accommodation consists of 11 ensuite bedrooms ranging in size and facilities from the most accommodating to the quite indulgent. Our recently refurbished bedrooms are all individually designed and each is unique in its style and character.
“ Hotel was very clean both in the public areas and in the room including the ensuite. The evening meal and breakfast were both excellent. Staff were helpful and attentive. Would stay again and recommend without hesitation on the strength of our overnight stay.

“ Friendly staff food was fantastic especially the lamb (don't be confused by the menu it's not a shepherds pie it's superb lamb loin AND a miniature pie). Only niggle was we were given a road side room and it's a commuter route at 6:00 am.

Huntlywood Granary is located in the heart of the beautiful Scottish Borders an easy drive south from Edinburgh or west from Berwick-Upon-Tweed making it an ideal place get away for a weekend or a short break. There are numerous golf courses in the area and the Borders is a haven for walkers and horse-riders and a mecca for mountain-bikers.Huntlywood offers spacious light and airy rooms ideal for those wanting a comfortable home to revive themselves and enjoy a good breakfast before the day's adventures.N.B. Prices quoted are per-room not per person. Also unfortunately we do not have a card machine so all payments are cash or cheque.P.S. If you arrive using SATNAV it guides you to house opposite the Granary!

Great real ales are served in our traditional bar (CAMRA Borders Pub of the Year 20082009).The Craw Inn is a great location for outdoor pursuits; 5 miles from the beach for surfing and diving several golf courses are nearby and it is ideal for exploring the Scottish Borders for country walks and fishing.Visitors can drive to Edinburgh in under an hour.
