“ The hotel was sparkling clean and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. We had a sea facing room which was a good size and very clean and the decor was good. Perfect for our stay of 3 nights, the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was of a good standard, all food was hot and replenished constantly. We visited the Aroma buffet restaurant on one evening and were pleasantly surprised of the high standard of the food and choice, again the dishes were regularly replenished. I agree with other reviews that the wi-fi charge is unneccessary and should be free, although this didn't affect our weekend.
“ Top Tip: We did find it quite difficult to find places to eat away from the hotel but stumbled across the Palace Hotel just along the promenade one evening and recommend their carvery. If you visit The Sound restaurant facing the Calf of Man near Port Erin, we can recommend the Manx kippers! (everything looked good on the menu!) Also Laxey is well worth a visit on the Electic Railway, we stopped for a pub lunch at the Mines Tavern, which was very good. Also hire a car from the airport, this was very reasonable at £90 for three days and allowed us to travel the whole of the Island to look at the beautiful scenery.

A nice Hotel.... though my only concern would be the level of service from the staff... the entire staff comprised of foriegners of whom several have below standard communication skills and whose service levels i found a little dismissive and uninterested.
I enjoyed the food.... which was reasonabley priced and well presented.
The rooms were clean, comfortable and the water hot !
I would stay again.
