The Hydro is a well established Isle of Man hotel situated on the beautiful Queens Promenade. Built in 1910 this 55 bedroom hotel offers modern facilities whilst retaining much of it's original charm. The Hydro is open throughout the year and we welcome all guests whether on business or pleasure to come and enjoy our hospitality.

“ Checked out after 1 night. First room on 4th floor offered as a family room was dismal and cramped there was no lock on the shower room door. The second room was more acceptable as a family room and was on the first floor, incidentally neither room had any view whatsoever. This is in my opinion a "coaching holiday" hotel and the entertainment laid on may well have been in the bedroom with us and music/singing blared out until gone 11pm (family room we had a child of 9 with us!!). The hotel is very basic and not what was expected of a 3 star. On the upside the food was excellent although not served before 7pm and then took over 30 minutes, the staff were very friendly and accomodating.
