Adelphi Hotel

“ Not much room on either side of the bed to get in and out and certainly no room on none side for bedside tables. The room however was clean and the bed very comforable. We had afternoon tea in the wonderful lounge foyer but it was badly let down by ripped chairs, dirty tables and broken and chipped crockery. Likewise at breakfast I had a dirty cup, we had to plead for a cup of tea after waiting and not saying anything for about 20 minutes. If this wonderful old hotel wants to compete with other hotels in Liverpool it really has to up its game.

“ Top Tip: Everything is on the doorstep because of the great location of the hotel.

“ Stayed there 4 times in the past so that says it all would definatly recomend it.

“ room was clean and tidy ,bathroom did'nt have shower only bathshower mixer with no attachment on wall ,had to stand with shower in hand and could not get tempreture right.
if this was a child and not an adult they could have scalded themselves,thought that now hotels had to have thermosatic controls on all hot water in bathrooms!!
as i work for a heating supplies i do know this.

“ Dissappointed with our room. I had booked 2 rooms for my wife and myself and my brother and his partner. The rooms were booked as superior doubles but the 2 rooms were vastly different - my brother had a lovely room, pannelled with lots of space, my room was tiny and slightly jaded. I asked at reception about my room but was told we had indeed got a double superior. I didn't take it any further but in future we will not use The Adelphi.

“ Top Tip: Lots of Indian and Chinese restaurants within 100 yards or so.
Liverpool city centre just down the road.
