The Express by Holiday Inn Liverpool has been developed within the Britannia Pavillion Albert Dock. A group of 19th Century Grade one listed warehouses made entirely from cast iron and red brick. The Albert Dock is now the largest group of Grade One listed buildings in the UK and as such the Express by Holiday Inn Liverpool has retained many of the original features. Today the Warehouse has been beautifully renovated and now offers 135 bedrooms which offer choice and flexibility to business and leisure clients alike. All rooms feature modem points direct dial telephones power showers hairdryers teacoffee making facilities and fully interactive colour TV's showing Sky TV and Pay Movies. Our Conference rooms can accommodate up to 35 delegates and also have their own unique decor. Also located in The Albert Dock are numerous quality restaurants and bars all within a few minutes' walk. Be sure to book a table at weekends. We are located just five minutes' walk from Liverpool town centre where you will find one of the busiest and friendliest nights out in the country. Parking for the hotel is either pay and displays bays opposite the hotel which are in operation 24 hours per day these cost £15 for 24 hours there is also a multistorey car park next to the Echo Arena which is a 5 minute walk away and all guests get a 25% discount on the 24hr rate which is £10.00 Please ask for a voucher at reception. Please note prices are subject to change as they are not managed by the hotel.

Confusion at check in over pre-payment.
Second rate room allocated-had massive supporting pillar next to bed obstructing way into bathroom-had to spend night with bathroom light on.
Noisy in morning due to idiots working for Premier Inn next door unloading bedding from crates.
Very disappointed but you get what you pay for!

“ Tastfully renovated old dock building, modern light, huge corridors, some rooms are quite a walk away and only 1 lift working to hold 6 people. Reception is on 2nd floor as is bar area and breakfast tables. Continental breakfast (only hot meal is sausage baked beans or scrambled eggs which ran out frequently causing long ques but it was nice. The rooms were modern, spacious with comfortable beds and 2 pillows each.Shampoo/bodywash is large bottles, hairdryer provided and lovely flat screen tv. The entrance to the hotel is hard to find and is in an enclosed courtyard but is right opposite the ferris wheel and Echo Arena
“ Top Tip: The back of the Hotel opens out onto the shops at the back of Albert Dock and there is 20% discount off one of the restaurants there but I found this quite expensive and the extras, eg beans or potatoes were £2.95 each.If you park in the multi story carpark you get 25% discount when staying at the hotel. Not far to walk into town from here. It was perfect for Matthew Street festival
