“ During our recent stay there was a wedding on and we were not able to use the bar or restaurant, as this was a trip for my sons 18th we would have appreciated being told this prior to our arrival when we telephoned to confirm our reservation. The Hotel itself is very tired and needs modernising, a hole in the wall does not give a great impression. The bathroom was not very clean and all of the complimentary biscuits were crumbled up, not a big thing but for £179.00 a night I'd expect more. Upon arrival to breakfast we were told to get our food from the buffet and a table would be cleared. We asked a waitress for tea and toast prior to going to the buffet, the breakfast itself was luke warm and tea and very burnt toast arrived far too late.
We would not stay at this hotel again

“ Great staff. Clean rooms, bedding and towels. No lift, so beware if you're not able to carry luggage up stairs (although staff did offer to do this) We had a couple of problems with the room (no electric to lights and a broken divan, but the staff dealt with it really efficiently). Great choice at breakfast even though we turned up 2 mornings 1/2 an hour before the end of service. Obviously a very popular hotel for groups of young men and women out in Liverpool for nights out. Very warm rooms, but were able to open windows for fresh air.
Taxi to Liverpool One was £3.20, so very convenient.

“ Top Tip: Sapporo Japanese Teppanyaki Restaurant 10 mins walk from hotel, superb! Very vibrant energetic restaurant, great fun!
Also, La Vina Tapas very close (less than £5 in taxi) great food.
