The room was spotlessly clean. The staff are engaging and helpful. The breakfast is absolutely first class and fresh. Tea and coffee is served to you at table from flask jugs which isn't good but the breakfast choices makes up for that. The food served in the bar during the evening was very good too.
My room was more than acceptable, comfortable bed and spotlessly clean.
I still can't believe the price I managed to arrange with Travel Republic and so I have to say First class value for money. Hotels should get wise like De Vere has, better to have a room occupancy at a reasonable level at weekends in preference to an empty room. I will definately go back - very good all round, well done Devere Daresubury.

We stayed here on the 18th February 2012.
Got a great deal with Travel Republic which included the breakfast.
Lots of couples were there. Very quiet nights sleep.
Our room was very clean and tidy. TV needs updating to a flat screen though.
The carpets in some of the corridors do need replacing as they do smell a bit but the hotel as a whole was very clean.
We used the Gym and swimming pool and all were good considering they were free to use.
The breakfast was excellent, fresh fruit salads (not tinned) and the English was fantastic with black pudding - yum yum - all food at breakfast was help yourself to as much as you want.
Bar prices are ok for a hotel.
We absolutely enjoyed our stay here and are coming back later in the year.
