Started off poor from your perspective, as on arrival, the hotel had not had notification of my booking which was worrying. However thankfully there was availability and a room secured quite quickly after arrival, plus the offer to refund any drinks costs incurred whilst waiting.
The room was also an upgrade but whether that was deliberate or due to type of room available, was not clear but either way it was a nice surprise.
Clean and tidy, with all facilities working - very short stay but enjoyable nevertheless.
Only element was the corridors were all very cold so assume heating off, and its always such a drag to get to the rooms from reception. Can also be confusing as lifts seem to appear from nowhere and whilst signposted, do not necessarily seem to match with where you want to go. Plus Floor 1 in one lift is a different floor in the other, which is quite bizarre. However, overall does not affect stay, just odd design.
