“ Have stayed at Kingston Lodge numerous times but after this last stay we shall now book elsewhere.We arrived Friday 16th Dec only to find that there was going to be two christmas parties one Friday night one Saturday night. Not informed of this, but told our room was well away from music not the case. We had two nights of very loud music till after 12-00.I appreciate it is christmas time and parties happen like one myself, but when you have paying guests staying they need to cater for them and look after them also.

“ Staff welcoming and attentive. Room spacious. Bed uncomfortable, mattress had seen better days. The feel of the hotel was one of general shabbiness and was in need of refurbishment.To be fair there were workmen on site attending to the roof. Perhaps they were starting from the top down.

“ Staff were very welcoming. Room / general appearance looking very tired which would detract from a 4 star rating. Clear signs though that refurbishment was ongoing and what stood out was the helpful, attentive attitude from all staff.

“ Stayed at this hotel quite a number of times due to visting family. Our stay this time much better a great improvement in the the restaurant especially at breakfast now more staff and food better.Staff all pleasant also I think the hotel is now taking on board customer comments.Yes a good stay and we will be be booking again.Also would like to thank travel republic for looking after us when we book on line with you all goes well so thank you.
“ Top Tip: Lots of good restaurants in Kingston. you can get ferry to Hamdon Court or Richmond, pub few yards down road good food and very friendly staff.(THE ALBERT). Train station not far away.

This pub has everything fantastic rooms great food and a proper bar. It's a real find!
