Dirty, smelly and run-down: and that's just for starters!
This hotel was unacceptable on all fronts. Service was cursory, with little attempt made to rectify, or even apologise for, mistakes made regarding booking. We were left to move our own luggage from room to room, and the accommodation itself was substandard and dirty, with inadequate facilities (rusting showerhead and cold water). The rooms obviously had not been cleaned for some time, the net curtains being black and filthy and spotted with something that looked like blood. It is ostensibly a non-smoking hotel, with an aggressive reminder to that effect included in the information pack, yet on entering the vestibule guests are hit by an overpowering smell of cigarette smoke. This is not even a 'cheap' hotel. The only thing it has to recommend it is the location, and there are many other establishments nearby which are infinitely superior for much the same price. Avoid this place!
