The staff on reception were very friendly and hospitable.
The room we stayed in was clean and spacious and provided everything you needed. The bathroom was modern and also very clean.
The hotel had kindly blasted out the heating which was nice since it was a very cold night and there was also a balcony to use.

The Copthorne Tara Hotel London Kensington is one of the most well known 4 Star hotels in London. It is ideally located in a quiet corner of the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea and offers convenient access to other areas of London. Whilst it is easily accessible from the M4 with London Heathrow Airport only a 30-minute drive, Earls Court and Olympia Exhibition Centres are only a 5-minute journey by car or bus. The newly opened Westfield Shopping Centre is just 10 minutes away by car. The hotel boasts 833 air-acclimatised bedrooms; including Standard Rooms, Club Rooms on the upper floors which offer city views and access to a private lounge, adapted rooms for the disabled traveller.

Welcome to a hotel that carries its 19th century elegance with pride and combines it with warm beckoning ambience much loved by its many regular guests. Whilst nestling in the relative tranquillity of Kensington Gardens Square it is hard to believe that the Phoenix is right in the heart of bustling Bayswater whose countless International restaurants vie with traditional English taverns to tempt the palates of the hungry. The City Hyde Park Olympia and Earls Court Exhibition halls and all major London attractions are easily accessible by the nearby underground rail system. Whilst a gentle stroll through Hyde Park will take you to Kensington Palace The Royal Albert Hall or the designer boutiques of Kensington.

Built in 1936 and renovated in 2002, this apartment complex comprises a total of 187 apartments, including 49 2-room and 12 3-room apartments, over 9 floors. The building is fully air-conditioned and houses a lobby with 24-hour reception, lifts, a currency exchange facility and safes. Additionally there is a cafeteria and a TV room. There is also a public Internet terminal and a WLAN access point. A laundry service and medical assistance round up the facilities on offer. Those arriving by car may park in the car park or the garage.
“ Aparthotel now fully refurbished with the exception of the reception area which should be finished shortly. Was very pleased with the service we received from the Citadines. Could not have been better. The room was lush! Loved it. Thank you.

These luxurious, stylish apartments are situated just a 5-minute walk from Hyde Park and Notting Hill. Each apartment offers free Wi-Fi, modern, open-plan kitchens and free laundry facilities. Bayswater Tube Station and Whiteley’s shopping centre are less than 5 minutes' walk from Grand Plaza Serviced Apartments. Paddington Train Station and Portobello Market are 15 minutes' walk away.
“ This hotel could do with some updating. I think it was ranked as a four star one but it is actually not, quite plesant though, comfortable bed, warm room, clean around, quiet. Reception staff is friendly and helpful, however they promissed Victoria train station transfer for £18 but the driver charged us £20.
