“ Lovely hotel! Spotlessly clean, great location in a nice area with beautiful houses. Most of the staff are very friendly, one evening when we returned to the hotel the lady on reception had our room key waiting for us, she had only met us once but had remembered our room number which is an example of the special service offered. On the other hand the staff in the breakfast room ( in the basement!) were not too friendly. The breakfast is very basic with bread, rolls, cereal, apples and tinned fruit, this suited us but some may find it inadequate.
“ Top Tip: A great pub at the top of the road, prince Edward, served good selection of wines and real ales. Lovely food with friendly staff. The best tube to use is queensway if you want the circle line to get straight into the centre in about 15 minutes.

“ Hotel was in a good location for tube and entertainment of notting hill but was the smallest room we've ever stopped in, modern looking, very minimal breakfast but clean, so depending on what u want this would suit some people. rooms just need more space for us.
“ Top Tip: a gorgeous tapas restaurant called elpirata detapas on westbourne grove 5 min walk left out of hotel. best food we've tasted. featured by gordon ramsey in awards he did!!

“ I found that the hotel staff were more than happy and eager to help make my stay more enjoyable. Upon check in and the veiwing of our room my partner was unhappy that we were given a room on the lower ground floor. I voiced my concerns to the receptionists and they were ever so helpful in showing us a number of rooms that we may prefer, which we did. I would recommend this hotel to any one thinking of staying in central london and thouroughly enjoyed my stay there.

Top Tip:
located nearby are a number of places to eat, not only those individual restaurants and pubs but also familiar ones such as pizza hut, gregs, mcdonalds, kfc and subway etc.
there is also a small shopping centre located round the corner too!

“ Excellent hotel. Couldn't have asked for a more friendly reception. Lovely room with fantastic Japanese bath, beautifully designed headboard. Hotel obviously been decorated by someone with flair for interior design - a million miles away from the bland chain hotels. Nice breakfast as well.

Built in 1936 and renovated in 2002, this apartment complex comprises a total of 187 apartments, including 49 2-room and 12 3-room apartments, over 9 floors.
