Our room was located below what I can only describe as a herd of elephants who paced from one side of their room to the other constantly, talked loudly and had music on to add to the din: and all this late at night AND early in the morning. In other words the sound insulation was very poor, and both nights sleep were very disturbed. Our room was not ready when we checked in at 14:30. We thought we had paid enough to get a full breakfast and were very surprised that the 'breakfast’ we had paid for was in fact served on a tray in our room and comprised yoghourt (flavour unknown), cereals, very poor orange juice, cold and soggy toast + croissant….a cooked breakfast was a further £12, no thanks! The room was clean and quite well appointed, but this hardly mattered given the other problems.
My recommendation below about Travel Republic only reflects the booking experience and NOT the hotel!!

“ Top Tip: Great location for Hyde park and paddington station is so close you have access to the whole of London!!

“ Hotel is convenient for Euston station and Kings Cross underground. No way is this a 4 star hotel, possible 2 star. No hot water in shower in morning but called reception and maintenance came within 10 mins. Staff in hotel very helpful and friendly. Hotel ok for 2 night stay max.
