The hotel staff were welcoming and helpful.
The breakfast was very good.
As for the hotel itself, it is desperately in need of refurbishment.
The room was comfortable but grubby!
The pillows the hardest I've ever slept on.
The stair and corridor carpets were threadbare in places

“ The hotel was quite tired looking and could really do with an update. I stayed in a single room and it really was tiny and quite dark and depressing, and the lighting didnt really help. the Bathroom definitely needs an overhaul - there was an annoying expelair fan which you could not turn off and it really intefered with my sleep, along with the radiator which was on all night and made the room stifling!!I suppose it wasnt bad value for London but it still needs an update. Almost forgot, although there was a tv in the room it was a portable tube set and the reception was appalling making it impossible to watch. All in all you wouldnt want to spend much time in your room but as it was only an overnight stay it was just about bearable!
“ Top Tip: We went to a lovely Italian restaurant up Harrow hill, called Sazios, which was recommended by the local constabulary!
