We had a great stay here (Junior suite) to celebrate our 15 years anniversary (Kids stayed at home).
The room was fabulous, with a number of nice touches to make you feel it was a little bit more special than the average. The hotel was in good condition and I felt was very good value for money (We paid around £220 per night including complimentary continental which was of a good standard) and stayed for two nights.
The staff were what made this for us though. Every contact we had with staff members (Around 5 different individuals) was pleasant. They were very pro-active/helpful. To give you a couple of examples, we had booked a taxi through the reception and I wanted a fixed price as it was for 5:30 on a Friday night going into Theater land. This was no problem and their car service did this for £15 which was a bargain as the car sent was a new S-class Mercedes limo with a proper driver in a suit who opened and closed doors etc.
Before our car arrived I had stepped outside to get a breath of fresh air while my wife sat in the lobby, I was followed out by one of the reception staff who asked me if I wanted a taxi hailing. I explained I didn't but as we were having this conversation another couple from the hotel came out and advised that they did need a taxi hailing. He suggested they take a seat inside again and he would hail the taxi. I then watched as he took care of this and then went inside to fetch the couple.
I felt very much that whatever you asked for here the staff would at least try and provide it, there was very much of a "can do" spirit amongst them.
I would struggle to go to London again and risk booking a room anywhere else.

Friendly staff and decent Continental breakfast. We had a very large room the room was clean.
The only thing I would stay is that it implies the hotel is a Boutique hotel but I would stay it is boutique style hotel.
When I next return to London I will almost certainly stay at this hotel agiain as of its charm and wonderful location.
“ Top Tip: Five minute walk to tube station and one stop away from kings Cross ideal central location to get to anywhere via tube or bus.
