Euro Lodge Clapham Hotel

“ I think that the hotel was great for the price, it had everything that we needed and was in great location with lots of links to central London. The room was comfortable and we were able to relax there. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. i would definitely use this hotel again on my next visit.

“ Top Tip: There are lots of great pubs and places to eat in Clapham such as the Alexandre, which are all located on Clapham high Street. There is also Clapham Common which is right across the road from the hotel and is lovely especially in the summer. There are also lots of transport links and to the west end of London and other surrounding areas.

“ Was met at reception by a very helpful and welcoming member of staff who had reserved me a nice room with an on suite (which I had requested as it is not standard here) The room was clean and tidy - rather small but big enough for the price. The bathroom was clean with a new power shower which was really nice. Everything was fine until someone opened my door at 12:00 midnight - the room had been given to somebody else by mistake. After I had told them that I was sleeping a receptionist apeared 5 minutes later asking me what I was doing in that room and could he see my booking form - I said no as I was going to sleep and that I had paid and booked the room. Apart from this the room was fine the breakfast was basic but welcome. This hotel was worth every penny even though I was woken up - it was quite comical really. Very good service in all for £44/night !

“ My stay here was overall a pretty good one.I would say the most important thing for me was the location it was only a couple of bus stops from the wimbledon tennis,plus also close to central London.Also the price was good,the room was a little small but i suppose big enough,if i had a complaint about the room i would say because of the rather small window there was not much air circulating the room meaning it was a hot at times.The breakfast was poor,not much choice.I would say that my stay was a more posistive than negative.

“ Top Tip: My top tip is not to get a taxi to the tennis near by as this costs far to much instead 2 short bus journeys gets you to the tennis at a much cheaper price,just get bus G1 from Clapham South to Clapham Junction,then bus 39 to the Wimbledon grounds this bus stops outside of the entrance to the queue or if you do have tickets it is only a couple of minites walk to the entrace gate.
