“ The Crowne Plaza in Docklands was excellent. The food was good although very pricey in the main restaurant. The hotel receptionists were very helpful and efficient. Rooms were very clean. We stayed there for my grandaughter taking part in Dance 4 Life at the O2 and the only criticism was the distance to Canning town station from the hotel.

“ I would struggle to find fault with this hotel, we stayed for one night and we had a great time. There have been a lot of reviews circling about the staff at the Crowne Plaza being rude and unhelpful so I think it's important to mention that we found the complete opposite. The staff were friendly and helpful, and even gave us a slight upgrade to a room with a view of the Dock when I mentioned it was my partner's birthday. The room was clean and well-presented, the pool and gym area were great too. We ate at the bar & grill in the evening, and although the staff kept the kitchen open slightly longer for us my meal wasn't that great(perhaps for the reason that we ate at 11pm!) so my only advice would be to maybe avoid the ceaser salad. However my partner had one of the burgers and really enjoyed it. Breakfast again was fab, great range on hot and cold buffet and again very nice staff. All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel: great location, great rooms and pool and great staff!
