Clean hotel with a close proximity to the DLR, so it's possible to get anywhere on the main lines.
Attached bar/restaurant is ok for light bites and the staff were very pleasant.

“ Good, clean basic accommodation. Bar and cafe not bad. No mushrooms for breakfast but plenty of bacon, sausage, tomatoes etc .etc. Ask for the quiet side if you intend to have a window open, the main road right alongside has traffic virtually all night.

The part of the hotel that I stayed in had a lot of traffic noise despite requesting a room on the other side of the hotel.
The room was a bit tired but all worked apart from BBC TV reception.
Had to argue that breakfast was included in my booking but in the end it looked so much of a bunfight that I didnt bother.
Main point - very hard to find from the DLR
