“ A functional, poky room. Clean with no frills. Suitable for a short stay for business purposes or for short holiday in London. Walking distance to Underground Stations. Reasonable eating places and a large Sainsbury's nearby.
“ Top Tip: The Delhi Brasserie on Cromwell Street is within walking distance and served good Indian cuisine at reasonable prices.

Unsatisfactory

Check-in date:
“ I had booked a single room for five nights while staying in London for work. The room was extremely basic and reeked of cigarette smoke. The radiator was also very loud. I changed rooms (to an identical alternative) and stayed there one night before discovering that neither the TV nor the shower worked. The following day I changed rooms for the third time. Despite this there was no apology from the staff. The hotel itself was shambolic. The automatic front doors had stopped working and you had to force them open to get in.

“ The hotel is relatively close to the Earls Court shopping and entertainment district in one direction and the Museums district in another direction. Both Earls Court and Gloucester Rd. tube stations just a few minutes walk.Hotel is the usual basic 3 star type typical of Central London, comfortable, but small rooms and overpriced.Good location, nothing special, but have stayed in a lot worse in London.
