“ If you want a basic base not far from Central London this hotel is fine. Walk-able to Chelsea for shopping on the King's Road. The room was very basic - just a box absolutely no frills. We were unfortunate I think as when we returned to our room in the afternoon the door fell off its top hinges. In fairness Maintenance came very quickly to repair it, but that intruded on our privacy for half an hour and we were left with broken splinters of wood from the door frame all over the floor. We booked this hotel for a theatre visit and to avoid congestion charges etc, however on balance I think next time we would prefer to pay more and stay in a better hotel in central London to have a better experience.
