Just a 5 minute walk from Hyde Park Corner tube, and down a quiet street, this is a lovely retreat from the hustle and bustle of London. The room decor is contemporary with dark wood sliding doors hiding the wardrobe, safe, mini-bar etc. Lovely deep bath, great power shower and luxurious toiletries.
The staff were all very friendly, especially the breakfast servers. The breakfast itself was delicious - but glad it was included in the price as £28.50 each would have put me off had it not been pre-paid in what I thought was a great deal from Travel Republic compared to other sites I looked at.
Only two gripes: i) Would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room
ii) I couldn't get an outside line on the phone (and no mobile phone signal) so was 20mins late for a meeting while reception tried to sort it out.
