“ No problem. All the staff were friendly and efficient. Due to the lateness of our check in we did not get to use any facilities except kettle, there was an ample supply of tea, coffee etc.

“ This hotel was perfectly situated for our visit to Camden Roundhouse and I was amazed at the quality and service at the price we paid. Good offers on food in the bar, excellent value for money. A a really good cooked breakfast got us off to a great start on the Saturday. I would definately stay there again and would recommend to friends.
“ Top Tip: Perfectly situated if visiting Camden Roundhouse

Ideal for weekend break. Like a lot of hotels this age, it could do with a bit of a makeover especially the bedrooms. BUT it is very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. We used the hotel for it's proximity to Camden and the Roundhouse both are an easy 10-15 minute walk.
The breakfast is good and the bar is very reasonably priced.
Both myself and my friend will definately use this hotel again and recommend to anyone who wants a well located and well priced place to stay in the area.
“ Top Tip: Just up the road from the hotel there is a road called Englands Lane. On the corner is a fantastic pub called The Washington. I can thoroughly recommend this pub. Thay have a superb range of real ales, lagers and wines....I didn't eat there but the menu looks very good. There is also a Chinese, Indian and an Italian restaurant in the same same road.

Combines oldtime elegance with present-day shabbiness. Still, good for the price (£85 per night in North-Central London).
Clean rooms (at least on the 3rd floor), smelling of bleach. Bleach not a very nice smell, but better than some of the alternatives.
They should introduce proper percolated/filter coffee at breakfast, though. Cheap instant coffee served in thermos flasks not good enough, and doesn't match the generous continental breakfast (or full breakfast , if you paid for it).
“ Top Tip: Great Chinese restaurant (as evaluated by someone who lived in China for 3 years) - Lido in Chinatown. Leicester Sq. tube.
