“ This hotel was a dissapointment from start to finish. On booking in we found the front door unlocked, reception was unmanned and we finally got greeted after waiting for ten minutes from a scruffily dressed man who told us that an electrician was in which is why the front door was unlocked. The front door however remained unlocked for the entire weekend day and night. The whole place was shabby and dingy. Our room was a bed in a broomcupboard, see-through curtains, plug sockets hanging off of walls, a tv with only 3 channels that had bad reception, miniscule bathroom which was dirty, we also had no hot water for the entire weekend. We only had breakfast on the first morning and decided to eat out on the second, there were 3 cereals to choose from which were all chewy and stale, cheap hard bread to toast yourself in a small toaster, the room was freezing and no staff manning it or clearing up. On check out we were met again by a scruffy man who was very abrupt, took our key and didn't even say thank you or goodbye. From check in until check out we did not see one member of staff. The hotel looks nothing like in the photos and was a huge disappointment! We will never stay here again and would never recommend it to anyone else.
“ Top Tip: Lots of lovely restaurants within walking distance

“ This hotel is shockingly bad. It is rundown and filthy and should possibly be condemned. The staff are friendly but there is nobody on reception. There is no lift and the breakfast in inedible. Having travelled extensively I have never stayed anywhere as bad as this. On the plus side it is central and the rooms are big.
“ Top Tip: Very handy to Oxford Street.

“ Sheets were clean, shower was good and hot. Noisy road outside, but it's central London, so that's no surprise. Overall a bit shabby, but being done up. Good value for the price.
