The Leonard Hotel is a luxury 18th century converted townhouse located in the heart of Oxford Circus, which is London’s most popular shopping district. The closest tube station is Marble Arch (Central Line) and the nearest train station is Paddington Station, which offers fast and frequent train connections to Heathrow Airport.
Despite being centrally located, the Hotel is situated in a quiet street just off the busy shopping streets, where our guests can relax and enjoy the cosy and familiar atmosphere that the hotel provides.
The Leonard has 28 rooms and 20 Suites all unique in style and decorations. All rooms are en-suite and equipped with complimentary tea and coffee facilities, soft and comfortable bathrobes and sleepers, Satellite TV, wireless connection at minimal costs, mini bar, 24 hrs room service, iron and ironing board and safety box. All apartments also provide self-catering facilities.
The Hotel restaurant and bar offer an exceptional British cuisine in a relaxed and chic atmosphere. Breakfast is served from 7.00 am to 11.00 am, Lunch from 12.00pm to 3.00pm, Afternoon Tea from 4.00pm to 6.00pm and finally Dinner from 6.00pm to 10.30pm.
The Hotel also provides meetings and Private dining facilities at The Portman Room, which has a boardroom capacity of 22 people, U-shape of 25 people, a classroom capacity of 20 people, Theatre of 35 people, private dining of 36 people and finally standing cocktail reception of 60 people.

“ We only stayed one night and I have mixed feelings about the hotel. Fundamentally there is little wrong with the place in that we had a pleasant room, excellent service throughout and the location is excellent for Oxford Street whilst remaining a peaceful place at the same time. Despite all these positives the hotel somehow just didn't grab me. I think that the problem is that, beimng an older property there is just a bit too much wear and tear going on. Although the furnishings are really quite nice on face value the decor and finer details are in need of attention. That said, for the price we paid we really can't complain for what was a motre than reasonable stay in London.

“ Lovely hotel and brilliant staff - very helpful and supportive. Good breakfast choice. Quiet location but very close to Marble Arch tube so convenient Central Line on Tube. Restaurants nearby. Would recommend especially as bath products are Elemis! Clean rooms.

The Rommel was at the top of a steep flight of stairs x 3, hence the mixed review above, so not suitable for someone that wasn't very mobile. The room itself was comfortable, Instructions for the air conditioning unit / heating would have been useful. The breakfast was expensive but then again it was central London.
Now my biggest grip - no working space, apull down desk would help for those that have to work, not least asthe Internet connection cable wouldnot stretch to the bed. Overall worth 4 stars but with little effort .....
