“ The staff were very pleasant and service was excellent. The room was very comfortable, and a nice touch was a bowl of fruit placed in the room. The breakfast was excellent, with a great choice. would definitely return.

“ Hotel room was fine (though very hot) and good bathroom. However the kettle and mugs etc are kept in a drawer with the electric socket at the back of the drawer, which made it very difficut to use the kettle. The only other socket in the room was in the corner behind a table, therefore making a drink was more trouble than it was worth. Also the socket at the back of the drawer made using the hairdryer difficult due to very little space - room layout was definitely not planned for the ladies!

“ Hotel in a great location, very clean, comfortable room and bed. Bathroom a bit on the small side. No complaints.
Cooked breakfast however, not very good at all. Eggs broken, hard, bacon hard, black pudding hard, beans with a skin on them, toast took so long that we reordered, and got 2 servings, tea was so weak (one teabag to equivalent of 3 cups). The cooked breakfast looked like it had been out for hours, and not renewed. The restaurant Supervisor said the Chef complained when we ordered fresh fried eggs half an hour before the breakfast finished, saying it was a late order. When they did come, they were broken, and swimming in oil. 'Tea and toast' on a tray was just that - no butter, knife, sugar, milk or spoon. We did try again on the second morning, as the Supervisor promised things would improve, but sadly not. NO complaints about the serving staff - they tried very hard to sort out our problems.

“ This hotel was lovely, staff were very friendly, the rooms were lovely and breakfast was very good! Situated 2 mins from Oxford Street and I would stay here again. I would reccommend this hotel.
