“ I was dissapointed. This is advertised as a four star hotel - it isn't. The room was quite basic. They advertise 'satellite TV in room' but I had a small portable TV in the corner of the room with five channels and a very poor reception. I also found the staff unhelpful. I use hotels regularly on business but I won't be returning to this one.

The family room had a shower room attached that was far too small. Not enough storage and only 4 coat hangers for 4 persons. The room was reasonably clean. The breakfast was horrible. The orange juice was orange squash, the cornflakes made cardboard taste good. The coffee had no coffee flavour and looked like mud. The only thing edible was the toast.
Don't ask the hotel to get a taxi for you because the firm they use charges far too much. More than any black cab which can be hailed on the main road outside.
It was in a good position but we will not stay there again.

“ Do not stay on the basement floor as it is right next to the breakfast room and the staff outside smoking area. Every time someone had a cigarette, you could smell it in the room. Breakfast was pitiful.
“ Top Tip: very good hotel for location to paddington station! only 2 mins walk away
