“ Clean Hotel in good location, decent breakfast

“ Excellent value for money, the room was very good but the staff were quite surly! The breakfast was 'just ok,' nothing special, perhaps we were just unlucky......... who knows! Would I stay there again......... absolutely, it is a great locations and good value for money.

“ Top Tip: Handy for the tube, nice walk to Buckingham Palace through some lovely greenery!

“ Cleanliness, facilities, decor, helpfulness of staff and location were all very good. We had a problem with the fan and this was resolved immediately after we left a Housekeeping Note with Reception (a new substitute fan was provided).

The only problem was breakfast :-
1. The Dining Room was too small for the no. of rooms in the hotel with the result that guests were having to queue for a table. This must be a recurring problem because coffee and croissants were provided for those in the queue but there were insufficient seats in the waiting area when we went for breakfast.

2. Nobody was managing the Dining Room, checking vouchers, etc.. As a result there was a general "free for all" whereby guests who had only paid for Continental Breakfast were, in fact, eating full English breakfasts. We were going to ask for a refund to offset this but did not pursue it.

3. On our 2nd morning, the service was poor - I gave up waiting for toast and a fried egg and ate my other items before they arrived.

“ Top Tip: Little Venice and Paddington Basin were within 15 mins walk and well worth a visit.

“ Hotel and staff where good but there was a lot of building noise in an adjacent room within the hotel on a Sunday morning
