“ Excellent location for exploring central London, and plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Friendly staff and very good breakfast. Rooms tired and a little shabby, but clean and reasonable value for money in London. You get what you pay for.

Loved the location of this hotel. The rooms were clean and large compared to some London hotels we have stayed in recently.
The only complaint was like most hotels the dinning room could have been bigger or replace the four seater tables for two seaters. There is nothing more annoying than waiting for a table at breakfast while there are a lot of empty seats where two people are sat at a table for four. Also the breakfast got cold very quickly once removed from the hotplates.
There is no shower gel or shampoo provided so take your own.
“ Top Tip: The hotel isn't far from the British Museum and this is a good place to stop for afternoon tea. Entrance is free but all donations welcome. It's a street away from the London Neurosurgical Hospital and Great Ormond Street. Just turn the corner and walk along Southamton Row and you will come to Covent Garden.

The hotel was exactly what it said on the tin - it was reasonably priced for a great central location, and the hotel rooms were basic but not unreasonable. There was a pleasant mix of nationalities and ages; making for a an entertaining array of lift trips!
The breakfast left a little to be desired, but again for the price you're paying for a hotel in a central location, minutes from Russell Square tube station, you can't really complain!
Overall a satisfying trip, but just don't expect 5* - remember your good value for money!
