Strand Conference and Events at the Strand Palace Hotel is a large multifunctional space comprising of eight well-equipped rooms. The facilities are all air conditioned with integrated Wi-Fi and audio visual equipment available. This large flexible space can be arranged to suit a variety of events. When it comes to wining and dining the Strand Palace Hotel offers a fantastic choice of restaurants and bars all under one roof and with such a wide selection visitors will be able to find the right place to match their mood.From the end of November 2011 for approximately 18 months we will have ongoing restoration to the exterior of the building. There will be scaffolding over particular parts of the building through this period. Disruption will be kept to a minimum.

“ The accomodation was fine and fitted the purpose. Breakfast was good. Staff in restaurant excellent and very helpful.However checking in proved to be a problem. The queue was unacceptably long and no apology for the delay when eventually I was served. I also needed to leave my luggage after I checked out ( for which there is a charge)and on returning to collect it found that they were unable to cope. I waited over 40 minutes for my luggage to be returned to me, which meant that I was under significant pressure to catch my train back home. There were a number of managers/supervisors who passed the queue and made no attempt to get help. So this perhaps indicates that is a fairly regular problem? Speaks volumes!! Not good management would be the inference?

“ Great location for all the theatres and in the next street to Covent garden. Rooms were clean and had everything you need. Would strongly recommend this hotel to all travellers.
“ Top Tip: Don't pay for breakfast at the hotel there is a restaurant called garfunkles two doors down that has a cheaper breakfast menu.

“ Very disappointed with size of room allocated. Breakfast queue was always long and tables too close to each other. Some staff had difficulty in understanding basic requests, but we were there for an event and I have to say that the staff were evxcellent all day.
“ Top Tip: Go see Sweeney Todd if still on during your stay plus eat at Salieri Restaurant close by.
