We were expecting more from the Hotel. The plus points were that the bar and restaurant staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. The reception and welcome could be much better - not evena friendly 'welcome to Cannizaro House' and certainly no Christmas Greetings.
The room was comfortable and a reasonable size.

“ Wimbledon Common has its own appeal. The village is very near by and is worth a visit. Lots of lovely restaurants nearby. The hotel staff were very helpful organising taxis and providing us with information and even some stationary we required.
“ Top Tip: A taxi ride away, on Clapham Common is Chez Bruce. Just the most fantastic food!

The fox and Goose is a pretty hotel in traditional style with a large patio garden. You will find excellent home cooked snacks or full restaurant meals on offer. To make things perfect the bar has a roaring fire to make you to feel snug and cosy when the weather is cold. All 73 comfortable bedrooms are fully air-conditioned and have just about everything to make you feel at home. The hotel is located just 2.5 miles from Wembley Stadium 6 miles from Central London and 10 miles from Heathrow Airport. .

“ The room was large, clean and comfotable. There was tea and coffee available, the room had a hair dryer and trouser press. The sink in the bathroom was cracked and in need of replacment. All considered the stay was good value for money and should the occsasion occur we would consider it again.

“ Stayed here during the very cold snap in Feb and we were warm as toast. Everything was to our liking but I do take issue with a pot of tea with one teabag costing £5 (tea for two?). Tea in general at breakfast is not a strong point .
