To start with the front door (of a very old building) was wider than normal but divided into two it was difficult to enter (the other one was presumably bolted), especially as it was on a very strong 'hinge', probably and understandably because it was a fire door. Also this door was approached by 3 steepish steps staright from the pavement.
The staff were really helpful, pleasant and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The room was comfortable and well equipped but, although the outlook was immaterial (back room with 'grotty' hard standing/'garden'), there was a set of rusty steps, possibly a fire escape, which were not even close enough to negotiate, also there was a dangerous hole which one could easily have fallen into.
That said, breakfast next morning was extremely varied, well cooked and served with sufficient attention from the waitresses.
Car parking was varied too but we were guided to the best option for our purpose.
My husband, daughter and I were well pleased with our short stay.
