“ We booked two double rooms which was clean and tidy.The staff were very friendly and was on hand to attend to our questions about the area and its nightlife, shops etc.The breakfasts were superb.Self service , but plentyful and no objections if you wantred seconds.The bar staff were polite and very attentive and always had a smile.All in all , it was a pleasant stay, although there were no pubs or nightlife in the immediate vacinity, it was only a short taxi ride away.Many thanks for a pleasant stay.Paul Chapman
“ Top Tip: Ask the reiception to call a taxi and go to Deansgate or Salford Queys( £5 by taxi )plenty of restaurants and bars at both places

We came to Manchester for a 30th birthday party at the BirdCage in the city centre. Everywhere, as expected, was from £90 per room, however when we did find £60 per room including a hot breakfast which was a steal! As there were 6 of us staying, £30 pp with full english breakfast was a bargain. Definitely recommend to those who want to be close to the city centre, but at a cheaper rate. 5-10 minute walk to Deansgate, 5 minute drive to the city centre where the printworks and many other bars are. Taxi prices approximately £6-7 to get there from the hotel.
Staff in the hotel were very polite and accomodating. Rooms, were very clean, the hot breakfast and service was excellent. Will definitely choose to stay there should we want another night in Manchester!
“ Top Tip: A huge sainsbury's is just a 2 minute walk from the hotel where you can stock up on drink and nibbles to have pre-party! :)
