“ Had a basic twin room which was clean and adequate. We ate in the bar and the food was very good. The main thing that I will remember is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.
“ Top Tip: Our main reason for staying at the hotel was to visit Tatton Park Flower Show which was spendid, but the house and grounds are also worth a visit. Just about a mile from the hotel at Styal is Quarry Bank and Styal Mill which we found interesting.

“ The hotel was excellent , great location for Manchester Airport or in our case near to Tatton Park for the RHS Flower Show which was the purpose of our visit.The room was spacious, well furnished , excellent modern bathroom and both rooms very clean. There was ample on site car parking and plenty of restaurants in near by Wimslow, I feel sure the hotel evening meal would have very good the menu looked good.The breakfast was well presented and a good choice of fresh fruit and the full English breakfast arrived very quickly. We would recommend the hotel , the reception was staffed at all times and the lounge areas and were spacious and lots of large sofas.

Hotel welcome was good. Room small but OK. The daily cleaning of the room not great.
When checking in I advised that I wished my son's family room and expenses to be charged to my card. He had booked room only by telephone directly with hotel. On departure, when I picked up my outstanding account I found that not only had they charged me for my son's accommodation and extras but had also charged for my own accommodation that had been paid to your goodselves and the voucher provided to them on my arrival. Also restaurant charges that we had not incurred were also charged to me. Sorting this out took up quite some time and no-one really seemed to understand their own billing system. I ended up with 3 final accounts, each one substantially reduced from the previous one. I am not entirely sure that the amount I finally paid was correct but by this time I was late for an appointment! They should have some method of entering your pre-paid vouchers into their account system prior to presenting a guest with their final bill.
