Although the room was compact, it was comfortable and the shower was good.
It would have been nice to have had two bedside tables - there was only one and it was a bit cramped. On the plus side the hotel was quiet and the breakfast very nice. A lovely view from the lounge area overlooking trees and grassland and in summer it would be nice to sit out on the patio. We would come again. Nice to have free parking.
“ Top Tip: Lots of buses close at hand to the University or into town so you dont have to take your car out of the car park.

“ Hotel was comfortable but not what I expected from the pictures. I thought I was checking in to the wrong hotel. Based inside a university campus, not the scenic view as it looks in the picture. Breakfast was nice and free car parking.
“ Top Tip: Stayed here to visit Belle vue greyhound racing. The drive in the taxi seemed furhter than I expected and cost £7 each way

The hotel was good for the price we paid. Slightly odd position, out of town which was good for us as we were visiting people in Fallowfield. However, good bus routes into Manchester centre. Nice grounds, would be tranquil space in the summer. Public areas pleasant and rooms clean and adequate. Odd layout but all signposted easily.
Breakfast pleasant and well cooked; staff very friendly and helpful.
Downside was no option to select twin room rather than double when booking. So first night we had to share a double bed as hotel full, but moved to twin the next night.
overall, a good experience.
“ Top Tip: jump on magic bus (blue) and go up the road to the Manchester Museum. If the weather is good, take a nice walk in the other direction to Didsbury and have a nice lunch and look around the small shops.
