food not up to 5* but facilities excellent.
Bedroom very good but duvet was far too heavy and there wasn't a flat sheet so you were either too hot or freezing.
Self service breakfast - good standard but again 5* I would expect table service.
Attitude of some of the staff left a lot to be desired - some excellent and some very unhelpful.

“ My daughter had her wedding reception here on friday last. Service was fantastic, venue was brilliant, food was excellent. All guests had a wonderful time. My brother was celebrant at the wedding mass and I booked him a room here after the reception. He was delighted. The weather helped as it was perfect for the photographs. Maria had a wedding suite complete with mood lighting in the bathroom. The views from our room over newcastle and the mountains of mourne were as stunning as the bride. This hotel is simply the best.

“ beautiful hotel situated i an amazing location. the room and hotel were very clean and well presented,and the staff were friendly. the only problem we had was the cooked breakfast it wasnt up to standard and with the price that we paid for are visit we expected more but left disappointed and hungry!
