“ The staff really make this hotel. They were very friendly - nothing was too much trouble and they were extremely helpful. We stayed in a twin room. It was a sufficient size but I would have preferred something a bit bigger. Storage was limited and open plan. Some drawers would have been good. The bathroom had an excellent power shower. The buffet breakfast was fine - (watery) scrambled egg, sausage, beans, cereal, coissants, muffins, rolls, toast, yoghurt, hot and cold drinks. The hotel was located close to the train station and within walking distance of the shops. This is a good hotel for a night or two only and I would stay here again if I was in Newcastle for a short stay.

“ Really good location less than 5 minutes walk from the train station. Lots of pubs and restaraunts nearby and 5-10 minutes walk from centre shopping (Eldon Square and Grainger Market) The hotel itself was really good and clean with a not too bad selection at breakfast. We foung the staff were very helpful and cheerful. We would definitely stay again
