“ very noisy with stag and hen party's. Got no sleep as they were in and out of each others rooms and banging doors. This continued all night.

Excellent choice of hotel, location just around the corner from central station and the same distance to the quayside. Staff were brilliant and friendly on check in, rooms clean and modern as are all rooms at the various jurys inns i've stayed.
We stayed on easter bank holiday weekend and while there was plenty of groups of revellers staying, both male and female, the atmosphere was respectful yet lively.
“ Top Tip: The quayside and its many pubs/bars and restaurants, something for everyone, even if its just the architecture.

Booked a triple room - 1 double and 1 single bed. Beds were lovely, good pillows also. Room was spacious and very clean. Only problem was the lighting, room was dull at times and was hard to do makeup.
Hotel is huge and at the front courtyard there are pleanty of taxi's waiting to give you a lift - at reasonable prices! Hotel is very central, literally 1-2mins away from Newcastle central train station and a further few minutes away from the bars and clubs - The Gate is a fab place to go at night! We got a taxi to the metrocentre and it only cost about £7 between us which was good, you can get a subway to it aswell though. Hotel is a party hotel - lots of young people and lots of stags and hens - majority of them male ... we had a fantastic time, felt like we were abroad, would defo go back in a second. no problems with the hotel at all. Staff were lovely and so was the breakfast 7am-11. There are also bouncers at the hotel door at night and they only let people with a room key in - so you feel safe :) Newcastle in general has a lot of bouncers- theyre big on security and we seen no fights during our weekend.
“ Top Tip: For great nightlife head up to The Gate - its literally a shopping centre but with pubs/clubs instead of shops - AMAZING. great party atmosphere - no fights at all, tiger tiger is good to start your night... I would stay up that end, heard riverside wasnt as good.. metrocentre is fab for shopping, other side of the river - get a taxi/subway - its HUGE! need to spend whole day in there and not many places to eat so maybe go outside for food. Theres also Eden square shopping centre which is up in the town centre(beside the gate) which is good. 'Mood' was one of the better clubs in The Gate .. 'Indigo' was far too warm and small .. 'Players' was good aswell.
