Shocking! Could not check in to begin with as they had no record of booking. They did not apologise and made us feel guilty to begin with.

Room had a window facing onto a corridor with a window to the restaurant so we could watch people eating and they could watch us getting changed - nice.

We could hear the entire conversations of next door, noise from above and the vibration from teh disco on Sunday night.

What a paradise to avoid.

The room was ok, he breakfast was ok, but the toast was kept warm under hot lights and was very chewy - what a bizarre thing to do

!I would have liked a face-cloth in the bathroom and the tv was vey small for watching whilst in bed that night. Staff were lovely, very helpful and 'smiley' I would have liked to complete the feedback sheet but there wasn't a penin my room and mine had just run out. I mentioned the pen and face cloth when checking out and the very nice receptionist noted this.

I realised on my journey home that I had forgotten to ask for a receipt. i called later that day and asked for one to be e mailed, it din't arrive, but I called again the following morning and one was sent straight away.

I would probably stay there again as it's quite handy for where I'm working at the moment, but I noted I was the youngest in the breakfast room by about 20yrs, so wondered if there was an OAP special or discount on! (and I'm no teenager!) However, i would definitely ask for a different room as mine appeared to be close to a generator or fan, or something similar, which kept me awake for quite some time despite feeling very tired.

We arrived to a very unfriendly reception.
Arrived at 1.30 and was told that if we wanted our room before 2.00pm we would have to pay an extra £25. We then left and came back at 2,30 as we were not offered anywhere to leave our travel bags.
I tried to order some food at 5.30 and was told this was not possible as it was too early.
We then travelled about 3 miles and found a very friendly pub and had food there.
The room was very shabby, stains on the carpets rips in the bed linen.

On checking out we again had a bad experience, as we booked via Travel Republic we paid in full online.
I was presented with a bill at reception, I then told the receptionist that we had already paid online. she then called a lady named Gwyn who was very abrupt, Gwyn said to me "NO YOU HAVEN'T PAID". I assured her I had she proceeded to disagree, then after some checking realised I had in fact paid in full.
She offered no appology whatsoever and just walked away.
We we gob smacked by her manner.
I am infact sending a letter of complaint to the manager today.
I WOULD NEVER USE THIS HOTEL AGAIN.

Top Tip: Th ehotel is literally in the middle of nowhere and if you don't pay the hiked up prices for their food you have to travel miles to get some.
