The staff were very acommodating as I requested to change my room from the ground floor.
Every member of staff that passed me, greeted me with a smile and good morning. The breakfast was a little poor, but this may be because I arrived at the restaurant after 8:30.
“ Top Tip: If you want to be near town do not stay here as it is a good 15 - 20 minute drive to Nottingham town centre

The Nottingham Gateway Hotel is a modern and conveniently located hotel just 3 miles from Nottingham city centre. The hotel is ideally situated just 1 mile from Junction 26 on the M1 and offers free on site parking for 250 cars.All the facilities required by both the leisure and business traveller can be found at the hotel. All 108 contemporary bedrooms offer a host of facilities including power showers and broadband internet access. Wireless internet access is also available free of charge in all the bedrooms and throughout the public areas including the conference suites. Strings Bar also offers Sky Sports 1 and 2. The hotel offers a range of cuisine in both Bows Gallery Restaurant and Strings Bar ranging from Bistro style dishes a traditional hot buffet and an a la carte menu.

“ On arrival reception area was very clean and inviting, only 1 member of staff on the desk on new years eve so had to wait a while to check in. We had booked an executive kingsize room with breakfast but when checking in were told we had a queensize superior room no breakfast included.

“ A well placed hotel that provides excellent value for money. The staff could not do enough for us and the breakfast was of a very high standard. The only minor complaint being the lack of air conditioning in the bedrooms.

The Rutland Square Hotel is situated in the heart of historic Nottingham: the Caves Galleries of Justice... The hotel commands premium views of Nottingham Castle and have easy links to the M1. The hotel combines elegance and practicality in modern surroundings with all the facilities you would expect from a City Centre Hotel. The conference centre is without a doubt one of the best the City has to offer. All the conference rooms have natural daylight and are fully air conditioned.
