Hotel is lovely and clean, welcoming reception area. we went as a hen party which it catered for very well, there were 4 or 5 other large hen and stag parties also stayin. The pool area is also lovely and well worth a dip free with your room.
The bar area did fantastic range at breakfast, and we ate there one night and they allowed our party to decorate with balloons and banners & gave the bride free cocktails.
LOcation is perfect in the centre near station, bars and shops.
ONly bad thing would be some rooms were a bit dated - but they were huge.
£52 for 2 nights we paid - bargain :-)

The standard of customer service was disappointing. We were told our rooms would be available at 1pm but they weren't available until 3pm. The bar did not open until 6pm so there was no where to go for pre-dinner drinks with children.
Overall we felt the level of service was not up to 4 star standard.
The facilities were OK although the TV reception was poor and the rooms were stuffy as there was no air conditioning. As it was only 10 degrees celcius outside I would not stay here in the summer.

We really enjoyed our visit and found the staff really helpful,and friendly, the concierge was particularly helpful
It was hard to find it on the satnav though and parking was in the trinity car park opposite and cost £13 a £3 reduction when you get the card stamped at reception.
The one way systems in Nottingham are difficult to encounter.
The hotel was really nice though once we got in, and the pool and sauna etc are good. we attended an aqua class in the morning it was great.
another good thing is that you do not have to get out of rooms until 12.00 in the morning.
Not too noisy during the night as well.

Top Tip:
We went to ASK restaurant and had a good time there, we also visited Hardwick Hall 24 miles away but well worth the visit, with lovely olde world restaurant .
shops are really close and John Lewis is opposite, and Waitrose and and other good shops.
They have a tramway through the town which is novel.

“ A well placed hotel that provides excellent value for money. The staff could not do enough for us and the breakfast was of a very high standard. The only minor complaint being the lack of air conditioning in the bedrooms.
