“ On arrival reception area was very clean and inviting, only 1 member of staff on the desk on new years eve so had to wait a while to check in. We had booked an executive kingsize room with breakfast but when checking in were told we had a queensize superior room no breakfast included. Had to point out on our booking in voucher what we had paid for, this was taken and photocopied by the receptionist as proof!. We were then given our key and went on our way. The room was spacious and the bed enormous and very comfy but overall our room was in need of an update especially the bathroom which was quite dingy to be honest as were the carpets, definately in need of a clean. I would stay at the Park Plaza again as it is ideal for shops and places to eat but wouldn't rate it 4 star.

This not a 4 star hotel! We upgraded to a superior room - it was small, with a dirty carpet, dirty curtains and a very 'in need of update' bathroom. The hotel is clearly an old hotel which has tried to do a cut-price refurb.
On the positive side - breakfast was fantastic!

“ A well placed hotel that provides excellent value for money. The staff could not do enough for us and the breakfast was of a very high standard. The only minor complaint being the lack of air conditioning in the bedrooms.

The Rutland Square Hotel is situated in the heart of historic Nottingham: the Caves Galleries of Justice... The hotel commands premium views of Nottingham Castle and have easy links to the M1. The hotel combines elegance and practicality in modern surroundings with all the facilities you would expect from a City Centre Hotel.
