“ Nice hotel, nice room, nice breakfast. The hotel is about a 30 min walk away from Oxford but you can get there along the Thames towpath which was nice on a crisp November afternoon. Would definitely stay again.
“ Top Tip: Great pub nearby called the Magdalen Arms with a really good chippy on the walk back!

The hotel is very well presented, the rooms are clean and spacious.
We ate in the hotel restaurant the food was really good and there is a good choice at breakfast too.
The hotel is idealy situated for Oxford centre a 2 minute walk from the hotel door and a 10 minute bus journey takes you into the centre of Oxford.
The hotel was perfect for a girls shopping weekend and I will certainly go back for a short family break
“ Top Tip: There is a a very good restaurant which do an indian buffet at the ozone leisure park next to the Vue cinema

A "country house hotel" in the middle of Oxford. Accomodation in stylish rooms is in houses throughout a mature site of several acres, so you need to state if you have any mobility problems.
Reasonable bar meals and a good breakfast.
Best value I have ever had in Oxford.

This is a comfortable and well run hotel, and although it was very busy this time with weddings etc. we in no way felt inconvenienced or 'sidelined'. It's peaceful setting away from the main city means it is very pleasant to come back to at the end of a long day. There are plenty of buses to the city centre and taxis are not too expensive. Staff are freindly and helpful and any problems are soon sorted out.
Evening meals are often very good but never really bad, all according to the chef of the moment I suppose. breakfast is always excellent. This was my 4th visit and highly recommended.
“ Top Tip: About a quarter of a mile walk away is Iffley Lock, a real oasis of peace and calm and a lovely walk from there along the Thames towpath. It's a bit of a hill back up so you can take the car if walking is a problem.
