“ Enjoyed our stay at The Moorland Links, we chose it for its position as were visiting relatives. We know the area very well and it is ideally situated on the moor, very quiet and a nice outlook, close to Plymouth and Tavistock. Room very comfortable and warm, plenty of hot water for showers or baths. Excellent breakfast, the ''BEST Breakfast'' was very good, well cooked, tasty, fresh and served on a hot plate. Good choice of cereals, rolls, croissants, jam, fresh fruit and tinned grapefruit, and brown or white toast. All excellent, we do hope the standard of cooking/food will not change with the recent sale of the hotel.
“ Top Tip: Excellent coffee shop for snacks, delicious cakes and light meals, Sonyas in Yelverton. The Rock Inn also in Yelverton serves excellent bar meals if you do not with to pay at least £20 for an evening meal in the hotel. These are both only a few minutes drive from the hotel. Worth a visit is The Paperweight Centre, fascinating, again in Yelverton.

With stunning views overlooking the Plymouth Sound and across into Cornwall Holiday Inn Plymouth is in a truly breathtaking location. With 211 air-conditioned and newly refurbished bedrooms some with sea views and a contemporary decor throughout Holiday Inn Plymouth is an outstanding hotel located just 5 miles from Plymouth City Airport and half a mile from Plymouth station. The historic Barbican and the extensive range of shops are only a short walk away and our fantastic Elliott's restaurant offers excellent cuisine you won't want to leave the hotel with the restaurants panoramic views overlooking the Plymouth Sound. For the business traveller we have 9 air-conditioned meeting rooms a Work Base Business Centre and an Executive Lounge. Our onsite health and fitness club provides an indoor heated swimming pool fully equipped gymnasium sauna and steam room. All facilities are free to hotel residents. Our indoor pool and CV gym is open for residents and has just undergone a full refurbishment!!
“ Excellent choice for an overnight stay, ticked all the boxes. Like the fact you could add an adult for £15 so we could all stay in one room without paying a single supplement. Parking great, breakfast excellent and staff very helpful.

“ my husband and myself had a short break there in jan 2012 we booked a standard room but when we got to our room we had a balcony that over looked the bay and the view was fantastic we had been up graded at no extra cost, the room was very nice the bed very large and comfy everything you needed in the room, staff very nice.

Offering some superb uninterrupted views from its position on the crest of Plymouth Hoe this well positioned hotel is ideal for visiting Plymouth or for exploring the West Country. Quality Hotel Plymouth offers you a fantastic setting where you can experience some magnificent views of Plymouth Sound and the surrounding hills and coastline. The hotel benefits from a large free car park while internet access is available on-site (at an additional cost). All of the rooms are equipped with a private bathroom as well as standard 3-star facilities a tempting room service menu is also available. Located adjacent to Plymouth Hoe Plymouth city centre is a short 5 minute walk away while the University of Plymouth the shopping district and the Barbican waterfront are also close by. Alternatively you can ask reception for details of regional attractions including the National Marine Aquarium Eden Project Dartmoor Paignton and Brixham.
