“ Jan 29 2012. We wanted an overnight stop for family reasons. and I wanted a early morning swim. We previously did this on Christmas Day 2011 and this stay last weekend was just as pleasing. Holiday Inn Portsmouth satisfied both of these requirements.

“ Room was ideal for a complete break from it all. The window was slightly openable for fresh air, there was no phone in the room. It had the layout of a small flat, with door coming into the hall and the bedroom and bathroom off the hall.

“ The hotel was awful; it was grubby and had the air of being unhygienic and dirty. It was all certainly very tired. The coat-hangers were missing from the room (even though they were the typical hotel ones that are no good anywhere else).

Located within GunWharf Quays which is a vibrant waterfront development offering a number of attractions including designer outlets restaurants and bars the hotel is ideally located for business or leisure breaks. The Hotel features a contemporary bar breakfast area and Wi-Fi internet access. All bedrooms are non smoking and en-suite with comfort cooling and tea and coffee making facilities. Car Parking in Gunwharf Quays Car Park is complimentary for first 24 hours and £2 a day thereafter.
“ The hotel was very clean, beds nice and comfy. would recommend anyone to stay. I will be booking this hotel again when we re-visit Portsmouth. Breakfast was above standard. Staff very friendy.
